SAGACITY NEWS SEPTEMBER 2006

“We first thought presence was being fully conscious and aware in the present moment.  Then we began to appreciate presence as deep listening of being open beyond one’s preconceptions and historical ways of making sense”

This quote by Peter Senge (author of The Fifth Discipline) encapsulates what he and his colleagues now see as the result of writing the book “Presence”.

From Gilly Chater
My idea of a newsletter is to share information that may be of value to all Sagacity clients and friends.  I realised as I started to write this newsletter that over the last eight years the diversity of clients has been enormous and yet leaders inherently share similar challenges in their business and personal lives. So the question is “what information is useful and what is not”?  We welcome feedback on this newsletter.

As we head into the last quarter of 2006 we need to be well prepared to take on all new challenges and opportunities.  I am now working with my colleague and friend, Judith Jamieson of Access Point on some larger projectsJudith is also a certified facilitator of the same approach to leadership development as myself.  No project is too large for us!

Also we are very excited about the SPECIAL Sagacity Events being held in February 2007. (See to right)

Be in your health with a quiet mind and positive feeling state!  I look forward to continue supporting you and your organisation.

Best wishes

Gilly
